The Foundations to PMU (4 Modules)
This PMU course offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience for individuals aspiring to become skilled PMU Artists. Throughout the course, participants will explore various aspects of permanent makeup application, including skin anatomy, color theory, pigmentation techniques, client consultation and PMU machines, pigments, needles. Emphasis is placed on safety, sanitation, and ethical standards to ensure the well-being of clients and adherence to industry regulations.
Once the online modules are successfully completed, students can register for the 2 day in-person practical sessions under the guidance of experienced PMU instructors. Students will develop their skills, gaining confidence and proficiency in performing permanent makeup procedures on live models.
In addition to technical training, the course covers business essentials, including legal considerations, marketing strategies, and client management techniques. Participants will learn how to establish and grow their permanent makeup business, fostering success in a competitive industry.
PMU Apprenticeship Program
The final phase of The Foundations to PMU course, is designed to provide students with practical, hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced PMU professionals currently in the industry. This apprenticeship phase is essential for participants to further refine their skills, gain real-world experience, and transition into independent practitioners in the field of permanent makeup.
During the apprenticeship, student work closely with experienced PMU Artists, observing procedures, assisting with client consultations, and actively participating in the application process. Through supervised practice sessions, participants have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and techniques learned in earlier modules of the course to real clients, under the mentorship and guidance of their supervising artist.
By the end of the course, students will have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to begin their apprenticeship program with careers as professional permanent makeup artists. With a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction, graduates of this course will be well-equipped to deliver exceptional permanent makeup services and contribute positively to the beauty industry.
